Employment Opportunities

Bayside Swimming Club in Bellingham, Washington (in the beautiful Pacific Northwest) offers wholesome seasonal employment opportunities.

For the 2024 swim season, we will begin accepting applications for the following positions beginning on January 17, 2024:

Swim Instructor
Bayside Swimming Club offers swimming and diving lessons for both members and non-members. Each summer, our program provides group lessons for hundreds of children.

The successful applicant must be 16 years of age or older and have current American Red Cross Lifeguarding & First Aid and Adult, Child & Infant CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications. Those meeting all other qualifications but lacking these certifications can enroll in the Lifeguard Class to be held at Bayside Swimming Club. (NOTE: 90% of our hires come from this class.)

Some successful swim instructor applicants may also be hired as regular lifeguards.
