The Bayside Barracudas

Our swim team, the Bayside Barracudas, is a healthy and fun summer activity for kids who can swim 50 yards continuously. The team was established more than 50 years ago. Ten years ago there were only 35 kids on the team. Last year we had more than 100 kids. Over the last decade, several other local pools have formed their own teams, making it more fun to compete at swim meets.

The Bayside Swim Team is a recreational team. Its goals are to have children develop an appreciative understanding of competitive swimming in a nurturing environment. The team is open to both members and non-members.

Turnouts are held Monday – Thursday between 7:15 and 9:00 AM. The swim team season is 7 weeks long this summer. Space is limited.

Swim team information for the 2017 season will be posted here in the spring. Please check back at that time.
